Nothing describes the InterContinental Maldives better than the word paradise. This luxury resort was designed by Singapore-based architects Eco-ID to seamlessly blend with Raa Atoll, surrounded by the cerulean waters of the Indian Ocean. It’s the perfect place for guests to disconnect from their busy lives and enjoy all that the islands have to offer.

Designed for what the hotel calls “barefoot living,” visitors spend their days boating, paddleboarding, or observing local sea life from the nearby UNESCO World Biosphere Reserve. And after a long day of exploring, guests retire to private villas featuring contemporary Maldivian interiors, all with stunning views of the Indian Ocean.

One-of-a-kind accommodations include two-story Lagoon Villas with ocean views, beach and lagoon access, and private infinity and jacuzzi pools. For those who love to spend their time close to the water, Overwater Villas have spacious outdoor decks, while Beach Villas give people direct access to the sandy white beaches.

To provide visitors with the most comfortable accommodations possible, the guest rooms are outfitted with Purist™ wall-mount faucets and floor-mount bath fillers with the Rain Duet™ multifunction handshowers. Fixtures are finished in a brushed bronze that blends modern minimalism with a contemporary look. The result is a simple yet sophisticated aesthetic that elevates the design of each villa.
